Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gelee Milk Cleanser // Link //£7.99
I am such a big fan of the Neutrogena Hydro Boost range because as the name suggests, it is very hydrating on the skin and contains Hyaluronic Acid. The Hydro Boost Gelee Milk Cleanser is a gel-cream hybrid which leaves the skin clean, fresh and hydrated. It is very gentle on the skin and suitable for all skin types including people with sensitive skin. It does have a slight fragrance to it but I don't think it is bothersome. It can be used with a cotton pad to remove makeup and it does a good job when used this way. I personally prefer to use it for my morning cleanse with water rather than as an evening cleanser with a cotton pad. It does not leave my skin dry at all which is why I love reaching for it. If you have dry or dehydrated skin, you would really enjoy using this as a mild cleanser.
Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser // Link // £14
I remember when Glossier was finally made available in the UK and how everyone rushed to get their hands on their products (including me). I was so excited to try out the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser as I had read countless reviews and watched various YouTube videos about it. It is described as a conditioning facial cleanser which is suitable for all skin types. It ticks all the good skincare boxes- non-comedogenic , vegan, cruelty free, etc and I like it for these reasons. It is a gentle and soothing face wash but I personally don't use it when I wear makeup because I feel I have to use a lot of the product to achieve what I want. I use this as a morning cleanser and it makes my skin feel very fresh and awake. I love the packaging as well and I put some stickers that came with a Glossier order on it (Don't judge me!!). It does not have any fragrance to it which is great for people who don't like fragrance; I don't mind either ways. I like that it does not leave my skin dry after use but I won't say it is as hydrating as the Neutrogena one.
Simple Refreshing Facial Wash // Link // £4.00
I have always seen the Simple Refreshing Wash in both drugstores and grocery stores but I never picked it up. I recently decided to check it out and was intrigued by its claims of being soap-free (as well as fragrance-free and no harsh chemicals). I have been trying it out and I absolutely enjoy it. True to its claims, it has no fragrance and works so well. I thought it won't lather well since it says it is 100% soap-free but I am happy to report that it lathers so well that I had to double check the ingredients list again. It works perfectly as my second cleanse and removes my makeup leaving my skin soft and supple. It is not drying at all which is great and it works well with all my skincare cleansing tools such as my FOREO Luna Mini 2 and my Magnitone Barefaced Cleansing Brush. I believe this would work so well for anyone who has sensitive skin (of course, it is always wise to do a patch test first). I have combination-oily skin and fairly normal skin and I have absolutely enjoyed using this cleanser. The great thing is it is affordable and easily available in many stores including grocery stores and online stores.
That's pretty much my favourite gentle cleansers. I love all these cleansers and use whatever tickles my fancy and depending on how my skin is feeling. Have you tried any of these gentle cleansers? Let me know in the comment box below.
These sound so great, I really want to try that Glossier one. I'll definitely add that to my wishlist!
