If I told you how long ago this post has been sat in my draft, you would not believe it at all. It was meant to be a Black Friday haul post but the days passed and I was busy so now it's a collective High End haul. Well, to be fair it is not completely high end as there are some mid end products that don't fit into high end which I wanted to mention. All the products were at least 20% discount so I did not have to pay too much for them. I am a huge fan of discounts and I save most of my high end purchases for when I have these discounts. I love a good haul and I know people love to read these kind of posts. The best part of it all is that I have tried many of these products as they were purchased last year so I can give a mini review. Let's dive in...
Molton Brown Vintage 2015 Shower Gel and Body Lotion // Link // from £20
I actually bought these products in different shops because Molton Brown was completely sold out. These products were that popular that they were sold out. Would you believe when I got on the Molton Brown website, only the Shower Gel was available and this was around November last year FYI. Everything was sold out including the Candle, Body Lotion and Christmas Bauble. I am pretty sure the Shower Gel did not last very long on the site. I had to get the matching Body Lotion from John Lewis who also had a 20% discount. Phew!! It was totally worth it because it smells absolutely divine.. I am just saving it to use on special occasions as it is limited edition so I don’t want to run out and find it difficult to repurchase. I am obsessed with it. That’s all.#endof
Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover // Link // £19
I have always wanted to purchase this after reading countless reviews singing its praises. I do really like it as it does a good job of removing my makeup especially waterproof eye makeup. I will be reviewing it separately. It’s quite a small bottle for what you get but I do think it is worth trying out if you are having problems removing your eye makeup especially waterproof eye makeup. Just ensure you shake it well as it is a bi-phase formula unless your eyes will feel greasy which I get annoyed about. However, the fact that it does a spanking job at removing my eye makeup really endears it to my heart (and eyes).
MAC Studio Fix Foundation// Link // £22
I have already featured this baby a few times on this blog and it's also featured in my December 2015 Favourites. It's been at the back of my mind to try it after going off it since 2011. There was a discount so I had to get it and I think I only paid £17 or so; it was pretty cheap. It does an amazing job and I have been wearing it at least 3 times a week when I wear makeup. It feels lighter than I remember but the quality has remained top notch. The only snag is the weird smell which I detest so much and I really wish MAC could change it. I also bought the MAC Pump to go with this foundation because I cannot deal with foundations without pumps. The good thing about this pump is that it goes so well with some other foundations so it's an investment.
MAC Pro Palette and Insert // from £2.50 (insert)// £10 (palette x15)
I already have the MAC Pro Palette (Quad and Duo) and they have served me well. I have decided to build my MAC palette using the 15-eye shadow pan which is such a dangerously expensive thing to do. I have had my heart set on it for a few years and I do have about 7 or so MAC eyeshadows so I won't really be starting from scratch. When you think about the total value (if you buy it all the eyeshadows full price at £150), it's pretty mind boggling but I definitely won't be buying all full price or at a go. It would probably take me a year or so but you would find out when it is complete. There's not much to say about the palette except that it study and I love how pretty the eyeshadows look when arranged inside the palette.
NARS Pressed Powder// Link // £25
The NARS Powder has been on my mind for a long time as well but I did not want to pay full price (I am a cheapskate like that). Plus I was not quite sure what my shade was so I did not want to purchase it online. I popped over to Bentalls, Kingston for a shade match and I found it- Mountain. I had actually checked it out online and I thought it would be too light but it's actually a perfect match especially paired with my NARS foundations. The packaging is to die-for as expected from NARS and it feels so sleek. It is easily one of the best finely milled powders I have tried (except Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow, of course).
NARS Taj Mahal Blush // Link // £23
I actually purchased this in October last year when I went on holiday. I always try to get one thing from Duty Free because I can't resist. I was super good last year and I only purchased one product. I have had my eye on the Taj Mahal Blush as it is one blush that suits darker skinned ladies to a T. It has not disappointed me at all as it is absolutely perfect. I am sure this has featured in a video and favourite because it is so incredible. I think it deserves its own review so one is being planned.
NARS Nail Polish in Dovima// Link // £15
I found this on a whim in TK Maxx for £5 and I had to get it. I have been finding a few NARS goodies in TK Maxx but they are always in terrible condition. However, I was so lucky that this nail polish was in amazing condition. It's a true red which I feel is neutral as it's not too cool or too warm. I love how it applies and the packaging is so sleek as always from NARS. It's so cute and I wore it quite a few times during the build up to Christmas.
FOREO Night Cleanser //Link // £30
I purchased this from Selfridges after it was constantly sold out and I am in love. I was sent the FOREO Day Cleanser* which I have used a lot. I was impressed and I really wanted to try the Night Cleanser. It s perfect for removing cleansing the skin especially after a long day probably out in the city. It has such a classy packaging and the product in itself does a wonderful job. I think I may need to do a full review of both cleansers which go so well with either the Luna* or Luna Mini*.
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara// Link // £19.50
I remember trying out the Roller Lash sample last year and loving it. At first I was not wowed per say and then I fell right in love with it. I made a mental note to purchase it when a sensible discount came along, I snapped it up. It is one of the best mascaras I have tried for keeping my lashes curled and slightly elongated. I absolutely love it and I would be reviewing it shortly so keep your eyes peeled.
Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette // Link // £15.50
I know this is not particularly high end but I just thought I may include it in this post. I already have a full review on the blog which you can check it out here. It is without doubt one of my favourite eyeshadow palette because it has my name written all over it. Warm eyshadows (tick), Neural shades (tick), Pops of Bold shades (tick), Sneaky Smoky Look (tick)...it has all the eyeshadow colours that you can possibly combine in a sensible palette. I love it so much and its compact packaging makes it so easy to travel with.

Overall Thoughts
That's pretty much all the products I purchased last year with all the juicy discounts. I don't know about you but I always search for discount codes (even if it's 10%) before I purchase any product especially if it's high end. It's always good to try and make some savings on expensive products. I would be talking about my drug store picks in my next post so keep an eye out for it. Have you tried any products in this haul?..xx

I know right!! I hardly ever see people mention it and it made me think if it was just me!! The smell is absolutely off putting but it's such a wonderful foundation that I just have to use it. Yeah, you totally need to try the NARS Pressed Powder because it is amazing and goes so well with the Studio Fix...xx
DeleteI like your haul! Been eyeing that NARS Blush for a bit and I think I will get it
